We love growing peppers, especially those that make up our AppaLatin Sauces.
Arroz con Pollo peppers (pictured here) are the star of our Sofrito sauce. A traditional seasoning pepper from Eastern Cuba. These little peppers have a rich, umami flavor with no heat. They mature from green to red and are about the size of a habanero.
We grow a lot of peppers that originated in Latin countries. Cubanelle and Aji Dulce peppers are the stars of our Recaito sauce. Aji Amarillo peppers have their own delicious and tangy sauce. We use fire roasted Poblanos in our enchilada sauce and fresh Jalapeños in our salsa.
